Goddamn! Inca un amanunt legat de tobe, pe care abia acum l-am remarcat si de care sigur n-o sa-i pese nimanui, but whatever! Pe platoul lui Jimmy Fallon, cand baietii cantau tot "Four Out of Five", toba mare are taiat portul pentru microfon in aceiasi forma de hexagon care apare si in artwork-urile albumului and so on. Alea de obicei se taie in forma de cerc, if anyone was wondering... Nobody was wondering though, were they?! Oh well..

Primele 3 melodii: Connexion, Vaudeville Villain și Yama Yama se leagă atât de bine că nici ăl mai al dracu' DJ nu le-ar fi putut potrivi așa. Mixul se leagă la astea 3 de parcă ar fi o singură bucată, lucru pe care-l apreciez maxim, mai ales atunci când vine și neașteptat.

Eram constient de ceva proiecte gen mai de DJ and stuff cu Helders, dar nu m-a impins curiozitatea niciodata sa le ascult. But now I will, you sell 'em pretty darn well.

Daca te referi la tobele alea trixon vox, unde toba mare nu e rotunda, trebuie sa-ti spun ca mi se ridica parul pe spinare cand vad asa ceva. Daca ai vazut, in acelasi video live J.F. (and all the other lives this 2018 session) baietii au mai scos de la naftalina niste tobe electronice hexagonale, le bate percutionistul lor si din sesiunea de concerte AM, doar ca atunci se ocupa doar cu tamburina. Anyways, padurile alea hexagonale erau the go to staple electronic drums prin anii 80s. I kinda hate them too, just by the look of them, desi nici functional nu erau mare lucru nici cand au aparut si nici acum (baietii le folosesc doar exclusiv ca tragace - no dynamics - pentru whatever samples they may be playing) dar toba aia mare Vox e la alt nivel de naspa, is a total, perfect cringe fest, ew fest, nope fest, etc. Simpatice? Doar daca-ti plac serpii, iguanele, coropisnitele, toba aia mare centrii aia nervosi mi-i activeaza! hehehe!
