"I was sat waiting for my friend in a restaurant in east London, when I look up, and Alex and Taylor walk in. As if in slow motion, I hear the waitress explain that all their tables are taken, but there's two counter seats left...right next to me. I hope I managed to keep my cool, but my hands shaking for the next hour probably gave me away! They were obviously having a sweet, low-key date, and I'm very glad no one bothered them for photos or autographs. I should note they were both unfailingly polite to the waitstaff.

In terms of news, obviously this suggests the Monkeys are probably all in London? The waitress explained to us, later, that they get a lot of musicians popping in for food while recording at The Premises studio nearby, so maybe B-sides are in order?
