Serie A season tickets up

" Over 30,000 more season tickets have been sold across Serie A this season, with Milan up by 14,000.

According to today’s Gazzetta dello Sport, 282, 683 season tickets have been sold between the 20 Serie A clubs, up from 251,895 last year.

Milan and Inter have both overtaken Juventus on pure numbers, with each selling around 31,000 season tickets, just under 40 per cent of San Siro.

Juventus Stadium holds 41,000 people, so while their 29,200 season tickets sold out almost instantly, the Bianconeri can’t match the Milan clubs in terms of numbers.

However, the season ticket sales mean 70 per cent of the ground is sold out for every match, as was the case last season.

Milan have seen the biggest increase in season ticket sales, perhaps due to their exciting summer transfer campaign.

The Rossoneri’s numbers have gone from 16,441 to the present 31,000, with Inter up to that same number from 28,000"
