Nimeni nu este pregatit pentru celebritate si expunerea din celebritate pentru ca vorbim de un proces continuu de adaptare. Sunt de acord (cu TG si cu Zombie) ca trebuie sa tragi o linie in nisip si sa separi ce tine de munca ta de ce tine de viata ta. Nici in cele mai fericite si mai speciale cazuri, munca cuiva nu va insemna viata cuiva si viceversa (as in work == life). Si sunt de acord ca trebuie separat din capul locului "critica" (constructiva sau nu) facuta muncii lui X de "critica" facuta direct lui X - cele mai multe mesaje tembele se refera la produsul/serviciul final, la rodul muncii cuiva, nu la persoana in sine. Daca acea persoana nu vede diferenta...

Pe de alta parte, trebuie si psihologii sa aiba de munca, nu? Trebuie sa gasesti un echilibru interior - cu ajutor sau de unul singur. Si oricat de cinic ar fi, trebuie sa te deconectezi de exterior, din cand in cand. Daca gandesti ca trebuie sa reactionezi la tot si la toate, ar insemna sa nu depasesti stadiul ala din viata fiecarui copil cand este injurat de mama de cate un random asshole si sa te iei de gat cu toata lumea pana la sfarsitul vietii. Be pragmatic about it. Si pragmatismul ar trebui sa inceapa cu separarea puterilor in stat - munca e colo, viata personala e dincolo.

Fair enough, nu a fost cea mai amuzantă analogie. Ideea era să îi compar cu alt gen de oameni pentru care nu mai e un șoc la fel de mare, nu să trivializez lucrurile astea. Nu mi se pare acceptabil indiferent de ocupație.

Stiu, nu voiam sa iti scot ochii cu asta. Tine de psihicul individului, dar pana si chestia asta se poate invata/antrena/dezvolta daca iti doresti. Personal, am un dezgust total fata de oameni care sufera de sindromul "Miorita", in conditiile in care aproape sigur nu vobim de persoane care pot zice "am facut tot ce am putut si tot ce a tinut de mine" cu o mima serioasa.

War Stories: Thief’s intuitive stealth system wasn’t intuitive to design
it turns out the tightly coupled gameplay mechanisms that enabled players to so easily understand how hidden they were from the CPU's prying eyes was nowhere near as intuitive to design as it was to use. We sat down with Looking Glass founder Paul Neurath, who was involved heavily in Thief's design and development, to get the scoop. And even though he didn't take any rips from a wolf bong, he did have some juicy info on how Thief and its signature sneaking came to be.

The nature of some games just can’t be conveyed by a single screenshot. HellScreen above is a perfect example. Unless you know that you’re looking at a Doom-style FPS using an imposing and intense two-colour palette and providing the player with a rear-view window for situational awareness, you’d probably just think your were looking at a wall of mechanical noise, instead of a man battling a robo-squid.

What we’ve got here is an old-school FPS where you strafe around at an improbable speed and battle swarms of enemies that attempt to hem you into making a mistake with salvos of chunky, avoidable projectiles. All this portrayed in a palette of sickly bio-mechanical metallic blues and dark, bloody reds, wrapped in architecture inspired by nightmare-channeling artists like Giger and Beksinski.

Un visual novel/dating sim în care joci 'victima' unui pick-up artist (nu un tip generic, din aceia faimoși care scriu carți and stuff). Un fel de reversed Super Seducer. Pretty cool idea

That music is really something tho, I dig it. Altfel pare puțin plictisitor, dacă menține atmosfera de silent hill merge
