The Steam Audio SDK is available free of charge, for use by teams of any size, without any royalty requirements. Steam Audio currently supports Windows, Linux, macOS, and Android. Just like Steam itself, Steam Audio is available for use with a growing list of VR devices and platforms.

Steam Audio SDK is not restricted to any particular VR device or to Steam.

MicroSoft a omorat dezvoltarea pe partea de accelerare 3D odata cu disparitia DIrectSound 3D din DirectX

Microsoft nu a omorit nimic pentru ca nu ai nevoie de DirectSound 3D pentru a accelera in hardware sunetul 3D si efectele de ambient acustic aferente. Ai nevoie numai de un mare jucator in domeniul hardware/software care sa depuna efortul necesar pentru crearea unui API si a suportului hardware necesar. If anything, DirectSound 3D was a huge mess and we are all very happy about its demise.

Mie imi placea pe vremuri sa intru in direct x si sa dau testu sa se invarta cubu ala. cand a aparut voodoo arata foarte misto cubu. dadeai testu, se invartea, uite nene ce merge placa video. misto. i miss that

Steam review score will no longer include copies that were received for free

With the changes we are making now, the review score (shown at the top of store pages and in various places throughout the store such as search results) will no longer include reviews by users that received the game for free, such as via a gift, or during a free weekend. Reviews can still be written by customers that obtained the game in any of these ways, but the review will not count toward the overall review score.
