STONE

Post by ola small dickie »

"There's surprising emotional weight to this high-quality comedic "hip hop stoner noir" adventure, though the same can't be said of its lite gameplay."

The Good:

Feels like a cartoon come to life in 3D
Witty, well-written script with solid voicework
Surprising amount of characterization and introspection given the game’s self-proclaimed “stoner”
Status
Entire in-game movies to watch if you feel so inclined

The Bad:

Very limited number of locations and characters
No puzzles or even much interaction to speak of
Side content offers little to the overall game

Our Verdict:

Although disappointingly short on actual gameplay, the funny yet surprisingly touching STONE is one of the most engaging and enjoyable bite-sized adventures of the year.
