The Good:
Authentic and detailed visuals
Excellent voice acting
Gameplay provides a lot of satisfaction in its execution
The Bad:
If only the gameplay loop offered more variety
Awkward controls and the occasional snag on an environmental object
Ending feels artificially stretched out
Our Verdict:
It’s a bit too straightforward to offer much challenge with its puzzles, and not spooky enough to sustain a haunted house thriller, but Torn will win players over on its own terms, providing a highly-polished, scavenge-heavy VR mystery.
