The Good:
Superbly twisted cases to slowly unravel
Lengthy, connected story that delivers an emotional payoff the series hasn’t seen before
Detailed and colorful graphics that are worth leaving the 3D slider on to see
The Bad:
Two of its five cases, while still fun, feel a little like palate-cleansing filler rather than continue the developing story of Khura’in
Our Verdict:
It’s hard to find much fault with Spirit of Justice. Dramatically improving upon its predecessors’ storytelling and varying the familiar gameplay elements, this game gives the trilogy – and series, for now – a more-than-polished conclusion that engages the brain as well as the heart.
