Ghost Giant

Post by ola small dickie »

"Beneath this PSVR exclusive's charmingly childlike exterior lies a surprisingly deep emotional tale of friendship and growing up."

The Good:

Expertly voiced and well-written main character
Charming papercraft world begging to be examined
Beautiful integration of musical elements into the narrative
Story finds compelling ways to address mature topics

The Bad:

Ending is a bit too sudden
VR basketball is just not a good idea

Our Verdict:

A VR tale that’s both wonderfully light-hearted and solemnly mature, the modest Ghost Giant may not be the type of game to dwell on the why or how behind its supernatural premise, but with a game as well-crafted as this one, that’s more than okay.
