Many unexpected and inventive moments
Challenging and wacky puzzles
Funny and genuine-sounding dialogue
Looks and sounds great
Successfully pokes fun at all sorts of games

The Bad:

Platforming isn’t as good as the adventuring
Characters are often separated instead of having to work cooperatively
Ending is a bit of a dud

Our Verdict:

Lair of Clockwork God blends adventure and platforming to mixed effect, but it’s a very accomplished game overall, bursting with enough variety, style and humour to keep you surprised and entertained throughout its surprisingly generous play time.

A fost prima mea intalnire cu universul Ben and Dan. N-am jucat precedentele 2 jocuri (si nici visual novelul din acelasi univers pe care il primesti gratuit la achizitia Lair of the Clockwork God). Baietii au incercat sa amestece aici point and clickul cu platformingul intr-un singur joc, intr-un mod destul de ingenios. Ben poate sa faca doar chestii specifice adventureului point and click iar Dan e singurul care poate sa tzopaie, alerge si sa impuste. 2 aspecte de laudat la acest joc: umorul, da e un joc amuzant. chestie ce mi se pare foarte greu sa-ti iasa cu bine. si unele puzzleuri foarte ingenioase si originale, din care unul chiar memorabil. o sa-l tin minte, l-as alege la un eventual puzzle draft.

INSA, daca dialogul dintre Ben si Dan e amuzant si spumos, si mai fac si ici colo cate un puzzle interesant, unde jocul m-a pierdut complet e naratiunea, povestea. Nu m-a facut absolut deloc sa-mi pese de ce se intampla, de ce urmeaza. Am revenit de fiecare data la joc doar asa ca l-am inceput si hai sa-l termin (iar calitatile enumerate mai sus nu-l fac o corvoada) dar nu am fost absolut deloc motivat de poveste.
