The House of Da Vinci 2

Post by ola small dickie »

"Though falling short of a masterpiece, the sequel to Blue Brain's 2017 historical adventure offers multiple good times for puzzle lovers."

The Good:

Wide variety of gorgeous, multilayered puzzles with a helpful hint system
Beautiful scenes highlighted by dynamic camera work that makes you feel as if you’re really in da Vinci’s world of intrigue and mystery

The Bad:

A few overly hard puzzles that slow the pace way down
Much of the story is revealed all at once in a disappointing cliffhanger ending

Our Verdict:

The House of Da Vinci 2 challenges you to match wits with the master in this sequel that, despite a few hiccups, builds upon the fun recipe of puzzles and mechanical systems that the first game established so well.
