Visage

"To all appearances, this genuinely unnerving, surprisingly substantial supernatural thriller is like the spiritual successor to P.T. that horror fans have been waiting for."

The Good:

Ghost encounters and creepy atmosphere produce heaps of scares
Randomized paranormal activity keeps you on edge
Dense, evolving level design packed with puzzles
Realistic visuals and unnerving audio

The Bad:

One of the four chapters is a letdown
Survival elements are a little shallow
Some bugs may hinder progress

Our Verdict:

Visage drapes over you like some ghastly blanket, smothering you with unsettling ambiance and high-quality scares. Though it fumbles a certain stretch of gameplay, its otherwise meticulously designed structure, head-scratching puzzles, and creative manipulation of level design more than pick up any slack.
