Alien Function

Post by ola small dickie »

"The Sir Typhil fantasy series goes to space, where it works surprisingly well in this enjoyable point-and-click romp that's suitable for newcomers and existing fans alike."

The Good:

Challenging puzzles
Intriguing story accessible even to new players
Advanced hacking sequence is brilliant
Solid voice acting

The Bad:

Moving about with a commandeered security robot is slooooow work
Rooms are fairly sparse and character animations scarce

Our Verdict:

Its visual presentation is decidedly modest, but solid brain teasers, a quirky sense of humour, and engaging computer hacking elements make Alien Function a lot of fun to play even without any prior knowledge of the Sir Typhil series.
