Mutropolis

Post by ola small dickie »

"There's plenty of fun to unearth in this beautifully hand-painted archeological sci-fi adventure set three thousand years in the future."

Image

The Good:

Detailed futuristic setting full of humor and imagination
Strong story with engaging twists and turns
Immersive traditional adventure puzzle-solving peppered with a number of fun diversions
Relaxing lo-fi synth score and whimsical cartoon-styled art
Full voice acting by a talented and expressive cast

The Bad:

One fairly bad pixel hunt
Third act loses some momentum with a bit too much filler

Our Verdict:

In a fun and fascinating take on the future, Mutropolis offers a compelling point-and-click sci-fi experience that proves the classic adventure formula is as potent as ever.
