The Forgotten City

Post by ola small dickie »

"Reimaged from an award-winning Skyrim mod, this slickly produced time-looping mystery in a cursed Roman city is a truly memorable experience."

The Good:

Intelligent, engaging story and writing
Likeable characters with great vocal performances
Beautiful, historically accurate visuals and effective musical score
Time-looping gameplay is cleverly integrated in fun ways

The Bad:

Lots of backtracking and some difficulty finding characters when you need them

Our Verdict:

Uniformly excellent writing, acting, and audio-visual presentation of an ancient Roman city and its imminently doomed citizens make The Forgotten City a mystery well worth solving—and the clever time-looping mechanics make your investigation a lot of fun.
