Life Is Strange: True Colors

Post by ola small dickie »

"The latest installment by Deck Nine is one of the series' best and most beautiful, at times light and joyful and at other times hitting you right in the feels."

The Good:

Haven and its various buildings look amazing
Both the excellent voice acting and extensive soundtrack are superb
Choices feel like they carry weight – you really do care what happens to the protagonist
Standout live-action role-playing section brings all of the series’ creativity and fun together in a single chapter

The Bad:

Fetch quests slow the pace down
Story veers off into melodrama near the end

Our Verdict:

Life Is Strange: True Colors paints a pretty picture, creating a story you’ll really want to invest in, with only a slow plot point or two distracting from what is otherwise a great work of art.
