https://www.eurogamer.net/video-game-hi ... e-for-free

Here's what happened:
The publisher was sold and rebranded. Level magazine was published by Doğan Burda Dergi, which was Turkey's largest magazine group, a joint venture between Doğan Holding and the German Hubert Burda Media Group. In 2023, the company was acquired by RePie Yatırım Holding and Altun Capital Holding. Following that ownership change, the company's name was officially changed from "Doğan Burda Dergi Yayıncılık ve Pazarlama A.Ş." to "Big Medya Teknoloji A.Ş.", registered with the Istanbul Trade Registry on October 10, 2025. The digital pivot. The new ownership framed the rebrand not just as a name change, but as a broader digital transformation strategy, with goals around AI-based content infrastructure, digital-native publications, and data analytics capabilities. Out of this came the BMag platform, which brings together digital magazines, video production, podcasts, and vertical series under one roof, with a mobile-first approach and AI-assisted publishing. What happened to Level specifically. The magazine is still alive and publishing. The BMag platform hosts Level's digital issues going all the way back to 2012, and the most recent issue available is April 2026. So Level continues as a gaming magazine, but its standalone website (level.com.tr) was folded into the unified BMag platform, which now hosts all the group's titles — including Atlas, Auto Show, Hello!, Capital, and many others — in one place. bmag

In short: Level didn't shut down, its parent company just went through a sale and a major rebrand/digitization effort, and individual magazine websites were consolidated under the bmag.com.tr umbrella.
Done
Out into the foggy street. Turn your collar up.
