Am vazut ca a inceput sa se discute in ultima vreme despre incidentul cu Phobos II, so I'm gonna leave this here pentru cei care nu au stiu despre ce e vorba.
On March 31, 1989, headlines dispatched by the Moscow correspondents of the European News Agency (EFE) stated:
"Phobos 2 Captured Strange Photos of Mars Before Losing Contact With Its Base."
Vremya revealed yesterday that the space probe Phobos II, which was orbiting above Mars when Soviet scientists lost contact with it on Monday, had photographed an UNIDENTIFIED OBJECT on the Martian surface seconds before losing contact."
Scientists described the UNIDENTIFIED OBJECT as a thin ellipse 20 KILOMETERS LONG!
It was further stated that the photos could not be an illusion because it was captured by 2 different color cameras as well as cameras taking infrared shots.
One controller at the Kaliningrad control center concluded that the probe was now spinning out of control. It would seem that something struck or shot the Phobos II Probe.

"The famous image was not actually the last image sent by Phobos 2. Archived mission data show that multiple images were transmitted afterward.
Similar bright vertical streaks appear in many other Phobos 2 images, consistent with camera or image-transmission artifacts rather than a single unusual object.
The spacecraft had already experienced technical problems before contact was lost, and the official explanation remains a failure of its onboard computer and attitude-control system, not an external attack.
This is why the Phobos 2 incident remains one of the most famous UFO stories in space exploration, but it is not considered evidence of a UFO encounter by planetary scientists. The available mission data fit ordinary spacecraft and imaging issues better than the extraordinary interpretation."

^ That sounds like a "skeptic" argument. Eu am cautat si ultima imagine oficiala pare sa fie cea cu Phobos si obiectul ciudat. Nu stiu de nimic altceva.
De la o vreme nu prea mai iau foarte in serios ce spun "scepticii". Indiferent cat de solide sunt probele si dovezile, ei mereu neaga si se eschiveaza doar ca sa arunce indoiala asupra oricarui subiect UFO related. Sunt idiotii utili perfecti ai CIA si ai agentiilor cu trei litere care nu vor sa faca public ce stiu.
