BBB (Better Business Bureau) Business Review: ValvE Corp. -> F
http://www.bbb.org/alaskaoregonwesternw ... a-27030704
On June 25, 2013, BBB recognized a pattern of complaints from consumers regarding product, service and customer service issues. Consumers allege the games they purchase from Valve Corporation or Steam malfunction, do not work or have an invalid CD key. Consumers also claim the company blocks users from accessing their library of games. Consumers further allege they attempt to contact the company for assistance, but Valve Corporation fails to correct the gaming issues, does not correct credit card charges or issue a refund, or does not respond at all.

On July 1, 2013, BBB notified the company of the complaint pattern. To date, the company has not responded to BBB's request to address the pattern.

If you use Steam services (e.g. the Steam Curators' Lists or the Steam Broadcasting service) to promote or endorse a product, service or event in return for any kind of consideration from a third party (including non-monetary rewards such as free games), you must clearly indicate the source of such consideration to your audience

Totul merge bine pana cand steam ne supune inca unei verificari, prin mail (new thing apparently). Eu am primit mailul, si am confimat, dar my friend nu a primit mailul. And it's been like 12 hours. CSu' mi-a disparut din inventory, e pierdut in neant.

edit
Note: Steam Trading Cards, Profile Backgrounds, Emoticons, and Gems purchased on the Steam Community Market will not be tradable or marketable for one week after purchase. We are making this change to combat fraud (which artificially increases the prices of these items), and to help maintain a safe and healthy item economy within Steam.
Untradable Steam items can still be used like normal. They just cannot be immediately used in trades with other Steam users

There's one more new thing of note in the new Steam Subscriber Agreement which could cause quite a painful impact to some users. The paragraph, concerning user IP address spoofing, reads as follows:
  • "You agree that you will not use IP proxying or other methods to disguise the place of your residence, whether to circumvent geographical restrictions on game content, to purchase at pricing not applicable to your geography, or for any other purpose. If you do this, we may terminate your access to your Account."
That sounds quite heavy handed treatment for paying customers. Do readers think that Valve is justified in terminating accounts due to users seeking bargains in this way?

I've changed my store country and now I'm unable to use my wallet funds
Once you've selected your new country of residence, you'll need to verify that you do in fact live there by using a local payment method tied to a local address for your next purchase.
Verify, sure. How? With STEAM SUPPORT!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck with that, guys.
