Diferenta e ca Crimeea a fost a rusilor cu mult inainte ca Ucraina sa existe ca stat. Practic ei au pierdut limba aia de pamant in zapaceala post-cadere a URSS-ului.sekaba » Tue Mar 18, 2014 1:37 pm wrote:Cam ca Basarabia pamant romanesc. in 1991, after the collapse of the USSR and the emergence of an independent Ukraine, Turkey has already had the formal right to reclaim Crimea.
“However, the Turkish government, then led by Turgut Ozal, given the geopolitical changes in northern Turkey and changes in the general world economic situation, did not defend that position. Turkey limited itself to demanding that the rights of Crimean Tatars, living as a minority in Crimea, be restored,”

http://www.news.com.au/world/a-rapid-ru ... 6867240935A senior military academic is warning Europe is staring down the barrel of its biggest war since 1945. And it could start in days, as Russian forces mass on the border with Ukraine — apparently poised to invade.
The commander of NATO forces in Europe visited the White House overnight to voice his alarm at Moscow’s massive military build-up facing eastern Ukraine — on the other side of the embattled country to the already-annexed Crimean peninsula.
Many other military and political voices are suddenly expressing the same fears.
“By the end of the weekend, Europe’s biggest war since 1945 will have begun or Putin will have started to send the troops on the border home,” declared Professor of the Naval War College at Boston University, John Schindler.
And he is not the only academic voicing this concern.
The troops are reportedly not average Russian conscripts. New intelligence reveals the mechanised infantry units and their tanks to be among the best and most highly trained the Russian Federation has — diverted from their Moscow barracks to their tents and revetments overlooking Ukraine.
Also early this morning Australia time, a group of masked right wing ultra-nationalists began a demonstration inside and out of the Ukraine’s main parliament building - calling for the sacking of the police minister after one of their leaders was shot dead.
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-26787051US President Barack Obama has urged Russia to "move back its troops" on Ukraine's border and lower tensions.
Russia is believed to have massed a force of several thousand troops close to Ukraine's eastern frontier.
Mr Obama told CBS News it may "be an effort to intimidate Ukraine, or it may be that [Russia has] additional plans."
Meanwhile, a Russian security official has said intelligence measures are being stepped up to counter Western threats to Moscow's influence.

In relation to the current situation in Ukraine would like to draw attention to the following circumstances, clearly describing the current situation there after the February 22 coup.
Total disregard for the interests of the Russian-speaking citizens of Ukraine - this is not news, and permanent reality. The latest evidence of this - the suspension of broadcasting four major Russian TV channels.
Less visible, but no less dramatic is the situation around living in Ukraine of ethnic Germans, Czechs, Hungarians and other minorities. They are concerned about the unstable political situation in the country and seriously fear for their lives, directly confronted with the excesses that continue to create homegrown fascists and ultra-nationalists. Because of this, recently recorded a significant increase in the number of persons wishing to either temporarily or permanently leave their historic homeland. More and more people are seeking asylum in Ukraine and Russia.
We believe that the fate of these people should not pass unnoticed by the influential international organizations, including UN, OSCE, Council of Europe, which should in fact clearly demonstrate their willingness to defend their rights. Expect from international human rights bodies and institutions fundamental assumptions regarding gross violations of human rights, including minority rights, by "the new Ukrainian authorities."
