Partea trista ca ce spune el acolo se poate regasi in intreaga cultura corporatista indiferent de domeniul sau. Ce face mai teribila situatia este faptul ca Valve este o companie fara ierarhie, deci si mai mult loc pentru nebunia asta de mediu de lucru.

Something to note e ca dupa tot ce a enumerat acolo tot prefera companiile cu structura flat pentru ca structurile ierarhice sunt si mai nasoale aparent. Si dupa cum vorbeste dudul, as zice ca e parte din cei care creaza atmosfera toxica.

If you and your work-friends experience a mass layoff, relax and start organizing. Identify the companies you and your friends want to work for. Send in people who don’t want the job to interview at each company to gather “intel” about the process, questions, tests etc.
After each interview get a brain dump from that candidate. Send in multiple devs if needed to gather more complete info about each company’s process.
I’ve seen this done and it works.
The devs who are sent in as “probes” will be getting valuable interview practice and networking, so it helps them too.

Sunt cumpărați de ceva vreme de Gamer Network, care mai deține, printre altele, și Eurogamer și VG247. E aceeași platformă în spate pentru toate, iar acum presupun că au făcut migrarea către noul backend, iar redesignul a fost realizat tot de aceiași oameni.
Da, are mai multe funcționalități și merge bine, dar e lipsit de personalitate.

Monopol, bani? E basic thing, daca ai cel mai popular site pe un domeniu, vrei sa il ai si pe cel de pe locul 2 sau 3.

Nu e chiar același public țintă. Da, toți sunt gameri, dar cu interese diferite. Și site-urile au profiluri diferite.
