Roma people to have own virtual currency the LOV equivalent to one EUR.
The self-styled King of Roma Everywhere Dorin Cioaba, recently elected Chairman of the International Roma Union (IRU) has stated on Wednesday, for AGERPRES, that Roma in 37 countries, on three continents - Europe, Australia, America - will have their own virtual currency, called the "lov" from "lovele" (meaning money in the Roma language), that will, at first, be equivalent to one euro.

The most expensive coin for the Roma around the world will remain, however, the gold dinar in the Roma women's carcanet. A gold dinar is bought in Romania for about 500 euro, according to Dorin Cioaba.

We will start off with one lov to one euro parity and we'll see after that if it will increase or decrease. Any way, between Roma transactions happen with those gold coins called dinars. A dinar is 500 euros. We have launched a virtual currency for the future. The IRU has moved to a different course, that of international recognition. If we have a new government, we must have a new coin, he explained.

Recently, in Sibiu, at the IRU extraordinary congress, King Cioaba was chosen President of the Roma. He has the right to convoke the Roma Government, led by a Prime Minister in Macedonia, and the Roma Parliament, led by a president from the Republic of Moldova.

Cioaba says that the new virtual currency will enter circulation after the Roma will be granted recognition as a stateless nation.

Reaffirmed through a majority vote as the President of the IRU for the next four years, Dorin Cioaba intends to conduct a visit to the White House (USA) next month, where he hopes to meet an American official, to request help for the Roma community in the US.
raporteaza Agerpres; cred ca astea cu bitcoine si bitlovele intra la soft dar daca gresesc, asta e.

Britain just decriminalised online game piracy
The British government has decriminalised online video game, music and movie piracy, scrapping fuller punishment plans after branding them unworkable.

Starting in 2015, persistent file-sharers will be sent four warning letters explaining their actions are illegal, but if the notes are ignored no further action will be taken.

Synology Advises Users of SynoLocker Ransomware
Dubbed SynoLocker, the ransomware is targeting Internet-exposed Synology servers and utilizing a hereto-unknown exploit to break in to those systems. From there SynoLocker engages in a Cryptolocker-like ransom scheme, encrypting files stored on the server and then holding the key ransom. The attackers are currently ransoming the key for 0.6 Bitcoins (roughly $350 USD), a hefty price to pay to get your files back.

At this time only a portion of Synology servers are affected. Along with being Internet-exposed, Synology has confirmed that SynoLocker attacks servers running out of date versions of DSM 4.3 (Synology’s operating system). Meanwhile they are still researching as to whether the newer DSM 5.0 is affected as well.

With Synology still isolating the vulnerability and affected software versions, the company is asking users to take precautions to secure their servers against SynoLocker. Along with removing external Internet access to the server, Synology is also suggesting all users upgrade their DSM to the latest version and backup all of their data so that if they have or do get it, a backup copy is safe from SynoLocker.

Breaking news: AMD Radeon R9 390X cooling pictured

Image
Radeon R9 390X has hybrid cooling

Well as it just turns out, that deal was with AMD to design new R9 300 series cooling solution. The new cooler is almost identical to R9 295X2 (which was design by Asetek by the way). The only difference is that the middle fan has been moved to the side, as only one GPU has to be cooled down. We can even see the place where liquid loop will be connected, so it’s quite obvious now that next Radeon flagship will use hybrid cooling system, just like dual-GPU Radeon R9 295X2 does.

VESA releases DisplayPort 1.3 standard
The Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) announced the release of the DisplayPort 1.3 audio / video (A/V) standard. An update to the widely used DisplayPort 1.2a standard, this latest version increases the maximum link bandwidth to 32.4 Gbps, with each of four lanes running at a link rate of 8.1 Gbps/lane-a 50% increase from the previous version of the DisplayPort standard. Allowing for transport overhead, DisplayPort’s 32.4 Gbps combined link rate delivers 25.92 Gbps of uncompressed video data.

The increased bandwidth enables higher resolution monitors, including recently announced 5K monitors (with pixel resolutions of 5120 x 2880) using a single DisplayPort cable without the use of compression. It will also enable higher resolutions when driving multiple monitors through a single connection using DisplayPort’s Multi-Stream feature, such as the use of two 4K UHD monitors, each with a pixel resolution of 3840 x 2160, when using VESA Coordinated Video Timing.
DisplayPort 1.3 continues to support video conversion to VGA, DVI and HDMI. DisplayPort 1.3 adds support for HDCP 2.2 and HDMI 2.0 with CEC (Consumer Electronics Control), which enhances DisplayPort’s utility for television applications, including 4K video with copy protection. The new standard adds support for the 4:2:0 pixel structure, a video format commonly used on consumer digital television interfaces, which enables support for future 8K x 4K displays.

Microsoft Details Direct3D 11.3 & 12 New Rendering Features
11.3 & 12: New Features
Getting to the heart of today’s announcement from Microsoft, we have the newly announced features that will be coming to Direct3D 11.3 and 12. It should be noted at this point in time this is not an exhaustive list of all of the new features that we will see, and Microsoft is still working to define a new feature level to go with them (in the interim they will be accessed through cap bits), but none the less this is our first detailed view at what are expected to be the major new features of 11.3/12
  • Rasterizer Ordered Views
  • Typed UAV Load
  • Volume Tiled Resources
  • Conservative Rasterization
