De la Michilangelo mi-au placut destul de mult Holy Shit si Djurdjevdan. Mi s-au parut interesante Boom, Boom si Love is Evil (Zizek is full of Holy Shit, though). Paris, Texas si Look au fost ok. California Dreamin' e prea cunoscuta da mere ca ii face reclama lui Kar Wai.
Butterfly Bleu e genul de piesa care ma irita prin faptul ca e destul de lunga incat sa te faca sa iti pierzi interesul dupa primele 10 minute. Drop The Game is not my kind of game.

Lista lui Rdo a inceput destul de bine: e draguta piesa Suzanei si destul de cool coverul ala de la Daughter daca il compari cu piesa originala. Dar apoi s-au cam amestecat melodiile in mintea mea nu prea limpede si nu mi-a mai atras nimic atentia. Am mai dat o tura prin playlist cu acelasi rezultat. Si desi pentru Einaudi am o slabiciune de cand am vazut Mommy...nu-i destul.

Am așteptat momentul ăsta. Eu am aflat total întâmplător de Daughter acum vreo 2 ani, prima dată ascultând un remix de la Love, apoi i-am căutat să văd ce mai au și am dat de ei live la KEXP. Au niște prestații live foarte faine cum se poate vedea aici, aici, sau aici. Spun asta doar din cauză că cover-ul de la Get Lucky nu prea le face dreptate.

În orice caz, Michi are votul meu.

+1 rdo, la limită, cu observația că ambele îs oarecum lipsite de testicule, dar cel al lui rdo m-a dus la unele chestii mișto din aproape în aproape.

Nu-mi dau seama daca la Paris, Texas si California Dreamin' sunt filmele de vina sau imi plac si melodiile ca atare, cert este ca in mintea mea s-a format o osmoza imposibil de fracturat acum. Imi place muzica balcanica, deci apreciez si Djurdjevdan, Damien Rice-ul e palatabil, desi nu pot spune ca-mi place tipul de fapt, am vrut si eu sa ma arunc cu un Sebastian Tellier, dar alte alegeri cu totul.

Tom's Diner e genul ala de second-rate hit, simpatic si care-ti ramane cumva intiparit pe timpane, dar mi se pare ca nu e foarte potrivit ca deschidere de lista. Probabil ca pentru rdo are vreo semnificatie speciala. Coverul la Daft Punk e ok, dar parca nu-si depaseste statutul de reinterpretare de dragul diversitatii, mai degraba decat ca o melodie de sine-statatoare. Moby si alte chestii dragute, ambelor liste le lipseste un fel de "smash-hit," ceva absolut memorabil.

In conditiile astea, Michi puncteaza in afara concursului cu asocierea inevitabila cu peliculele. Vot MICHI.

Cred că cea mai grea departajare. Eram sigur că voi vota Michilangelo, dar m-am răzgândit după mai multe ascultări. Votez rdo, e drept că sunt piese ce s-ar putea considera generice și că nivelul e mai înalt la Michi în listă, dar m-am văzut fredonând destul de multe.

2. Father John Misty - Holy Shit | +2 - nu prea sunt innebunit dupa folk, dar probabil cea mai buna melodie ce am auzit-o in acest gen ever
3. Iron Butterfly - Butterfly Bleu | 0 - progressive rock, m-ai omorat. Imi imaginez ca e o piesa geniala pentru persoanele potrivite.

5. The Mamas and the Papas - California Dreamin' | +1 - good song, dar l-am auzit prea mult, si-a pierdut din zvac

8. Sébastien Tellier - Look | +1 - un syntpop nu foarte iesit din tipare, dar placut urechilor (si mai ales ochilor)

Well... Desi par artisti veniti din diverse genuri, mi se pare una dintre cele mai unitare liste din draft, si ce o uneste e atmosfera chill si calmanta a pieselor, which is exactly how I don't like my music
