The Wanderer: Frankenstein’s Creature

Post by ola small dickie »

"This beautifully artistic adaptation is light on gameplay but faithfully captures the spirit of Mary Shelley's classic novel creation."

The Good:

Faithful to the spirit of the original novel
Beautifully painted watercolour backgrounds
Music and palette change with the mood of the creature
Choosing between virtue or becoming a monster leads to different endings

The Bad:

Gameplay feels too simplistic and minigame-y
No Victor Frankenstein

Our Verdict:

Rather than treating Mary Shelley’s creation as the monster of so many horror movies, The Wanderer: Frankenstein’s Creature is true to the spirit of the original novel and is a treat for the eyes and ears.
