De fapt doua pe PSP (unul din ele nu a fost niciodata localizat). Da, cele de pe PSP sunt sequel-uri la cel de pe PS3. Sega a crezut ca e o idee excelenta sa mute seria pe handhelds fiindca nu fusesera multumiti de cum se vanduse primul titlu in Japonia. Din cauza mutarii au trebuit sa faca niste compromisuri foarte shitty dintre care cele mai ofensive sunt hartile mici si repetate ad infinitum, in timp ce primul joc avea harti imense si distincte de la misiune la misiune. Si ironia e ca chiar daca l-au mutat pe handhelds tot nu s-a vandut mai bine in Japonia si in plus nu s-a mai vandut apropape deloc in Vest (desi primul titlu se vanduse foarte bine in Vest), de unde si nelocalizarea celui de-al treilea joc.

It was game we believed in, but we never felt that it got to where it needed to be – we never saw a path to success if we finished it. It wasn’t up to our quality standard, and we decided to cancel it. It’s no longer in development. That wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s one that won’t surprise many folks given that we hadn’t been talking about it. Human Head Studios is no longer working on it. It’s a franchise we still believe we can do something with — we just need to see what that something is.

Creative director-ul de la Far Cry 4 a primit acordul Ubisoft sa ia cu el o echipa mica formata din oameni care au lucrat la AC III si IV, ca sa lucreze la un "proiect personal".
